The Deathless has put out the call once more, doling out new contracts for warclone operatives to earn great rewards for their actions on the ground. The deployment is open to all Omega Founders until 12:00 UTC on 29 April. 

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE 

Vanguard have a tangible impact on New Eden, and of course, their actions do not go unrewarded. As in previous First Strike events, there are exciting challenges to face and impressive rewards on the line. Warclones will receive the Condor Arkombine Arisen SKIN for collecting 1,000 biomass as a part of a squad of two or more, and the Augoror Navy Issue Arkombine Arisen SKIN for completing 25 contracts.

The latest First Strike playtest kicks off at 12:00 UTC on 25 April and runs until 12:00 UTC on 29 April, opening the doors to EVE Vanguard for the curious and competitive around New Eden. As in previous First Strike events, the playtest is open to all Omega warclones as a part of Founders’ Access.

The latest warclone deployment was a success, seeing new types of contracts, new warclone suits, and a new mining prototype being put to good use on the ground. Warclone Founders have already proved instrumental in the development of EVE Vanguard, and this event saw some of the first content created based on player feedback, as well as significant strides toward adding way more sand to the sandbox. 

THE RESULTS ARE IN 

Since the first introduction of First Strike deployments, Vanguard Founders have made their feelings known and helped shape the planetside battlegrounds of New Eden. In the past few months, legions of warclones have gone boots-on-the-ground to try out EVE Vanguard, the sci-fi sandbox FPS set in New Eden, thereby helping to forge the future of the broader EVE Universe. Soon, the doors will open once more, allowing valiant warclones to try out a new mining prototype, a new warclone suit, contribute to suppression in the system, and much more. Since December, monthly First Strike events have seen legions of warclones take to the battlefield in EVE Vanguard, shaping the development of this new sci-fi sandbox shooter through their participation and feedback, and forging the future of planetside combat in New Eden. It has become increasingly clear that the Vanguard are here to stay, and their impact will only increase. The question is, what will the rest of New Eden do?

Soon, the doors will open once more, introducing a mining laser prototype which will add another layer of complexity to gameplay, a sleek new combat suit, and new contracts that give Vanguard mercenaries a choice between corruption and suppression, deepening its connection to EVE Online.

The continued support and participation of Vanguard Founders in these events is vital to the continued development of the game, and we want to thank all warclones for their service.

As warclones take to the frontlines in droves to do the Deathless’ bidding, rest assured that not only are you doing your part to spread corruption in New Eden, but also contributing to the ongoing development of EVE Vanguard, which is very much a collaborative effort.

Already, our Founders have been instrumental in providing valuable insights into areas for improvement, which are being implemented in current and upcoming builds of the game. We will continue to collect feedback from players to improve and build upon a solid foundation.

The playtest will run from 22-26 February and is open to all Omega players. 

PREPARE FOR DEPLOYMENT 

On 22 February, the doors to the battlefield will open for the next First Strike Playtest, and Omega warclones will once again take up arms and fight for glory and chaos. In addition to proving your loyalty to the Deathless by completing contracts and impacting the level of corruption in New Eden, you will have the opportunity to earn fantastic rewards by proving your mettle on the frontlines. These rewards include the Atron and Talwar Arkombine Arisen SKINs, as well as PLEX.

Recently, legions of warclones took to the battlefield to aid in the corruption of New Eden, lending their hand in the collaborative development of EVE Vanguard. This was the second First Strike playtest, and it was action-packed and explosive.

Vanguard Founders, 

Recently, the EVE Vanguard First Strike event saw legion take to the surface and help spread corruption in New Eden by fulfilling contracts on the frontlines. We are thankful to all who participated in this first experimental deployment of these new warclones in New Eden.
